ART • PAPER • MAIL • CURIOSITY

Something real, made to land in your actual mailbox.

Ever + Hence is a monthly analogue dispatch filled with original art, paper, handmade pieces, ideas, things to notice, and whatever else feels worth sending.

WHAT IS EVER + HENCE?

A little interruption to the ordinary.

Most of what reaches us now wants something –– a reply, a click, a payment, our attention. Ever + Hence is meant to feel different. Something to notice, maybe something to try, keep, frame or pass along. Nothing complicated. Just a small part of the day that feels a little less routine.

Original Art

Every dispatch can include something made by hand –– often an original piece of art created here in the studio.

Something to Keep

Sometimes part of the mailing won't be meant for you at all. It might be there for you to give to somebody else.

PILOT Nº 001

I'm looking for the first 50 people.

Before Ever + Hence becomes a paid monthly project, I'm sending the first edition to 50 people for free. I want to know what it's actually like to receive –– what you notice, what you keep, what you use, what you'd change, and whether you'd want another one.

Especially welcome: people who don't already know me.

WHY I'M MAKING THIS

I wanted to make something that exists outside a screen.

I'm Kevin, the person behind Ever + Hence. I make art, work with paper, collect ideas, notice things outside, get interested in entirely too many subjects, and have spent years trying to figure out which box all of that belongs in.

Eventually I realized it doesn't need one.

Ever + Hence gives all of those things somewhere to meet. It also gives me a reason to make something slowly, put it into an envelope and send it to another human being instead of watching it disappear into a feed five minutes after I post it.

I don't know exactly what Ever + Hence will look like a year from now. I actually don't want to know. The freedom to follow an idea is part of what makes this interesting.
