SHIPPING + DELIVERY

Ever + Hence is made and mailed from Nova Scotia, Canada.
Because editions are small, handmade and sometimes offered as presales, shipping works a little differently from ordering something from a giant warehouse.
Where Ever + Hence ships
Shipping availability depends on the individual product.
A product may be available within Canada, to the United States, internationally or only as a digital/correspondence edition in certain destinations.
Please check the individual product page before ordering. Any destination restriction shown there forms part of the purchase conditions.
Shipping prices
Some Ever + Hence products include postage in the product price rather than adding a separate shipping charge at checkout.
Where additional shipping charges apply, they will be shown before you complete your purchase.
All prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.
Presales and production time
Some editions are sold in advance of their production or mailing date.
When you purchase a presale edition, your order reserves your place in that month’s production run.
The anticipated production or mailing period will be stated on the product page or communicated with your order where applicable.
These dates are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.
Mailing methods
Ever + Hence primarily uses postal services appropriate to the size, weight, destination and nature of each edition.
Some small paper mailings may travel by ordinary untracked mail.
If an order does not include tracking, there will not be a live tracking number or scan history available after mailing.
If tracking is included or purchased for a particular product, the relevant information will be provided where available.
Delivery times
Postal delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
Mail may occasionally take longer because of weather, postal volume, transportation interruptions, customs processing, labour disruption or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Ever + Hence.
Please allow a reasonable amount of time for postal delivery before reporting an order missing.
Your mailing address
Please check your mailing address carefully before placing your order.
If you notice an error before your order has been mailed, contact Ever + Hence as quickly as possible through the Contact page.
If mail is returned because an address supplied with the order was incorrect or incomplete, additional postage may be required before it can be sent again.
Lost or significantly delayed mail
If your order appears to be significantly overdue, contact Ever + Hence.
For untracked mail, there may be no postal scan or tracking investigation available, but I will review the circumstances and work with you toward an appropriate solution.
Nothing in this policy removes any delivery or cancellation right that applies under consumer protection law.
Nova Scotia’s Internet Sales Contract Regulations also contain statutory cancellation rights in certain circumstances where goods are not delivered within prescribed periods.
Damaged mail
Paper travels through machines, weather and a surprising number of hands.
If your order arrives materially damaged, please contact Ever + Hence promptly and include photographs where possible so I can see what happened.
Normal handmade variation or minor signs of ordinary postal handling are not automatically considered product defects.
International orders, customs and import charges
International mail may be subject to customs requirements, duties, taxes, handling charges or restrictions imposed by the destination country.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or collected at checkout, charges imposed by authorities or carriers in the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.
Ever + Hence may suspend or restrict shipping to particular countries when reliable or practical service is unavailable.
